Afandou

Faliraki

Faliraki is towards the northern end of the east coast. In the past it’s had a reputation as an 18-30 destination with large groups of drunken revellers filling the streets but it’s grown and developed over the years into more of a family friendly resort.

Gennadi

Gennadi is a village just south of Lindos on the south east coast of Rhodes. It’s a working village as well as a tourist destination so it does feel a bit different to the usual tourist resorts with a more authentic Greek way of life shining through.

Ialyssos

Ialyssos is spread out over a large area with dozens of hotels, including all-inclusive style places close to the beach as well as many smaller ones too. There’s an almost endless supply of restaurants and tavernas with various cuisines available.

Ixia

Ixia isn’t really a village or town, it’s more a collection of enormous hotels plus a few restaurants and shops located along the main coast road between Rhodes Town and Ialysos. It caters mainly to package holiday makers with good bars restaurants and night life.

Kalithea

Kalithea is a popular package holiday resort close to Faliraki. There’s no real village to Kalithea, it’s more just a collection of large, all-inclusive style hotels. There’s a few tavernas, supermarkets and car hire shops but minimal night life.

Kalathos

Kalathos is a small village on the east coast of Rhodes, it doesn’t have a focal point or village centre with most of the restaurants and shops found either at the side of the main coastal road that cuts through the village or down by the beach.

Kiotari

Kiotari is a relatively quiet, stretched out village towards the south of Rhodes between Gennadi and Lardos. It’s mainly a collection of large all-inclusive style hotels with a good beach, a handful of shops and some nice tavernas and bars too.

Kolymbia

Kolymbia is a resort on the east coast of Rhodes, just south of Afandou and Faliraki. It’s built around two good beaches either side of the harbour and has loads of huge, all-inclusive style hotels and plenty of restaurants and bars too.

Lachania is a small village in the south of Rhodes close to the east coast. there’s not much in terms of amenities. There’s a supermarket and a handful of tavernas but no ATM, no vehicle hire shops or any other tourist focused facilities.

Lardos

Lardos is a village just west of Lindos, close to the middle of the east coast of Rhodes. The hub of Lardos is the central square where all the roads into the town converge, this is where you’ll find a collection of tavernas, supermarkets and other cafes and shops.

Lindos

Lindos is a gorgeous village midway down the south east coast of Rhodes. It’s a maze of narrow cobbled streets and shops selling locally produced goods like lace and embroidery. Plus, there’s the incredible acropolis of Lindos on the mountain above the village.

Pastida

Pastida isn’t one of the most popular tourist resorts but it does still have all the facilities you might need. There’s a small selection of hotels and restaurants as well as bakeries, supermarkets, cash machines, car hire shops and more.

Pefkos

Pefkos is a small village on the east coast of Rhodes clost to Lindos. It’s an ideal place for a laid back holiday as it’s based around a large sandy beach that’s easily walkable from most hotels and has a good array of dining and nightlife options.

Rhodes Town

Rhodes town is the capital and lies on the northern tip of the island. It’s split into 2 sections, the old town with cobbled streets and historical sites and the modern new town with an almost endless amount of hotels, restaurants and nightlife.

Theologos

Theologos is a small village on the north west coast, it’s based around the main road that runs parallel to the coast and this is where you’ll find the bulk of the amenities. There’s also a more traditional village slightly in land which is a lovely place to explore.

Fanes

Fanes is a small village close to the west coast of Rhodes, it’s not a popular tourist destination with minimal facilities and hotel options but as the village was painted in bright colours back in 2010 it’s a unique and charming place to visit.
