Petriti

Everything you need to know to plan your trip to Petriti

What's Petriti Like

Petriti Corfu

Petriti is a small fishing village, it has a pretty little marina that’s home to a couple of tavernas where you can sit and watch the colourful boats come and go as well as enjoying the scenery with a cold glass of Mythos or a carafe of local wine.

Most visitors to Corfu probably wouldn’t want to stay in Petriti as there isn’t much to keep you entertained and other facilities like shops, restaurants and bars are minimal too. Coupled with the fact that you’re a bit of a distance away from the other main towns and villages, especially the popular north east mean it's not a popular tourist destination.

What's the nightlife like in Petriti

The nightlife in Petriti is pretty basic, there's just a handful of tavernas round by the sea front and these aren't late night party destinations. You can enjoy a nice meal and a few drinks and even stay for a few drinks, just don't expect to be singing and dancing all night.

Petriti is a place for those that want to get away from the usual tourist hot spots and enjoy a bit of peace and quiet whilst on their Greek island holiday.

What to do around Petriti

Petriti does have a small beach with tavernas that sit on the roadside at the rear of the beach. Sun loungers are available to hire from in front of the tavernas so there's everything you need for a days relaxing.

If you really like to spend your days on the beach then we’d recommend heading over to Halikounas beach which is a fantastic beach where you can learn to kite surf, alternatively head to Agios Georgios south beach, both are on the west coast about 20-30 minutes away.
