Kassiopi

Our complete guide to Kassiopi in Corfu

What's Kassiopi Like

Kassiopi Corfu

Kassiopi is an attractive village based around the harbour. This is where you’ll find a number of restaurants with great views where you can sit and watch the world go by whilst enjoying a local wine or glass of Mythos with your meal. There’s also ample accommodation available, shopping opportunities and late-night bars as well as peaceful headland walks and pretty views of Mount Pantokrator. Kassiopi really is a beautiful place with a lot to offer.

We’d recommend Kassiopi to those that want to explore the north of the island, those who want good nightlife and in particular those who enjoy a boat trip or two. The only downside is the distance to Corfu town.

Where is Kassiopi and how do you get there

Kassiopi is the largest village in the north east of Corfu, it’s roughly 35km from the islands capital Kerkyra and about the same to the airport.

This means a trip to the capital will be around an hours taxi ride and transfer times will be slightly longer depending on the amount of stops before yours.

What's the nightlife like in Kassiopi

Kassiopi Corfu

The nightlife in Kassiopi, like most of the Greek tourist destinations, is generally relaxed and based around having a nice meal and then a few cocktails or drinks.

For those that like it a little livelier there’s a couple of late night bars and even a club down by the harbour. The club tends to be for the younger crowds with the late night bars attracting an older demographic. You can also find Greek themed nights with live music and dancing.

Kassiopi, although not the most lively night out does offer a diverse array of places to keep all ages busy, if you want something more up tempo then you can always get a taxi over to Sidari or even head to Kerkyra.

What to do around Kassiopi

Kassiopi doesn’t have a beach in the village itself but there are a number of beaches nearby, a couple of those are Avlaki beach and Kerasia beach but there are others too. Visit the Corfu beach guide for more info on the beaches in the area.

If you run out of things to do in Kassiopi or you simply want to see more of the Corfu coastline then why not take up one of the boat trips that leave from the harbour on a daily basis. On these trips you’ll generally get to travel round the island, visit some secluded beaches and stop off somewhere for lunch too.
