What to do around Agios Georgios South

Agios Georgios south beach is found at the southern end of the village and stretches on for what seems like an eternity, it’s great for those that want to find a bit of space to themselves. It also has sun loungers, water sports and much more for those that prefer a more lively day at the beach.

The main downside of Agios Georgios is the fact that it’s a long way from most of the islands other major towns and villages as well as tourist attractions which are largely in the north of the island. Having said that there are a couple of places that are near by, for example the wildlife haven of Lake Korission is just a couple of kilometres away as is the wonderful Halikounas beach where you can try kite surfing.
