What's Acharavi Like

Acharavi Corfu

Acharavi is frequently visited by both families and couples as it offers a nice, incredibly long beach that’s mainly pebbles but has some sandy areas too. There's water sports available and loads of beach bars for refreshments. You can find out more about the beach on our Acharavi beach page.

The village itself has everything a tourist or visitor could need with an almost endless choice of accommodation from beach side bungalows to huge spa style hotels and everything in between.

There's no shortage of restaurants either with places lining both the main coastal road that passes through Acharavi as well as heaps more down by the beach too, you definitely wont run out of new places to try in Acharavi, that's for sure.

As for other facilities, there's a number of supermarkets, cash machines, vehicle hire shops, a jewellery shop, a wood carving shop and several bakeries.

Where is Acharavi and how do you get there

Acharavi is a popular resort on the north coast of Corfu, it's roughly 40km from both the capital and the airport and transfers will take you around an hour.

What's the nightlife like in Acharavi

If you're looking to party or have youngsters in your group who would like some lively night life then Acharavi probably isn’t the right choice for you. Having said that there are plenty of options for evening entertainment, it's just more restaurants and bars than late night clubs.

Some of the hotels and bars in Acharavi host quiz nights, karaoke nights or even live music. Many of the bars and restaurants are based around the beach so you get lovely views whilst you enjoy your meal or drinks.

What to do around Acharavi

Acharavi is close to the Hydropolis water park so that should help to keep families busy and entertained throughout the day.

If you want to explore the region then you can head west to Roda or Sidari where you'll find Cape Drastis and Canal D'Amour. Alternatively, head east to Apraos, Kassiopi or continue on to one of the north east coast villages that are well worth a visit.

There’s also hills around the resort that are the perfect place for an early morning or evening stroll for those that enjoy walking.
